Level: Easy Total: 35 Min Active: 20 Min Yield: 1 servings
The Bacon, Egg and Cheese McGriddles® is a classic breakfast sandwich that has become an iconic part of McDonald’s menu. It consists of a perfectly cooked bacon, a fluffy egg, and a slice of melty American cheese, all sandwiched between two maple syrup-infused pancakes.

What I love about this recipe is its simplicity and the perfect balance of flavors. The sweet and savory pancakes, smoky bacon, fluffy egg, and melty cheese come together to create a satisfying and hearty breakfast. Plus, it’s easy to recreate this McDonald’s favorite at home.

Ingredients

Directions

❖ 2 slices of Bacon
❖ 2 Eggs
❖ 2 tbsp Milk
❖ Pinch of Salt, to taste
❖ 1 slice of Cheese (optional)
❖ Complete Pancake Mix, just add water
❖ 2 tsp Maple syrup
1 In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat, flipping half way through, until crisp to your liking. About 10 minutes. Place on a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.
2 Whisk together the milk, melted butter, egg, vanilla, and maple syrup. Then whisk in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
3 In a non-stick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Spray the inside of the mason jar lids with non-stick spray and place them bottom side down (the open side). Add 2 tablespoons of pancake batter to each. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, about 2–3 minutes. Shimmy the pancakes out of the lid and flip, cooking for another 2-3 minutes on the other side until golden.
4 Crack the eggs into the bacon grease and cook them until they’re scrambled.
5 Once the pancakes are done, slice them in half and sandwich the scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese inside.
