Shawarma is a popular dish originating from the Middle East. Traditionally, it’s a street food made in the form of spiced meats that are stacked on a vertical rotisserie with thin slices shaved off as it rotates. The meat is usually chicken, beef, lamb or turkey. It’s commonly served in the form of a wrap, though in some countries you see it served on plates with sides such as seasoned rice or fries, and salads.
“ What I love about this recipe is its versatility. You can make it with any meat you prefer, and the combination of spices used gives it a unique and flavorful taste. Plus, it’s easy to make at home without needing a special rotisserie. ”
